Potholes, broken pavements, litter and poor street lighting may seem minor, but together they can cause daily frustration.

I will push for more investment in maintenance services, with problems addressed before they become more serious and expensive.

A livelier city centre

Many small businesses across the Island are creating distinctive offers and strengthening our communities.

Douglas should bring this together in a more lively, welcoming city centre.

I would support releasing Government-owned city-centre land at reduced cost to help create a vibrant central hub.

Air and sea lifelines

Reliable air and sea links are essential. The next Sea Services Agreement should include:

• Clear disruption standards for passengers.

• Better coordination between operators and Government.

• Exploration of resident ferry discounts or a customer loyalty scheme.

• Establishing a Passenger and Freight Council.
